Effective
MedMoneyGuide (medmoneyguide.com) is an independent financial education site for physicians, founded and operated by Joshua Dunigan, DO, in Des Moines, Iowa. In this policy, “MedMoneyGuide,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of this site. This policy covers the website, free accounts, the dashboard, calculators, and our emails.
We never ask for Social Security numbers, bank or loan servicer logins, credit reports, payment card details, or health records.
We don’t use your dashboard numbers for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database rules that keep each account’s data private to that account. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Details are on our Security page.
Depending on where you live, including California and several other states, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We don’t sell or share personal information as those laws define it. To protect your account, we’ll confirm requests from the email address on the account, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
MedMoneyGuide is for adults. Accounts are limited to people 18 and older, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
MedMoneyGuide is operated from the United States and is intended for U.S. residents. Our service providers store and process information in the United States.
We’ll update the effective date at the top when this policy changes. For significant changes, we’ll also email account holders before the change takes effect.
